X-ray at the hospital

So I've had a cough for 5-6 weeks now, which has been bothering me quite a lot... Two weeks ago I decided to see a nurse, but since he couldn't find anything he recommended me to see a general practitioner(GP) - a doctor, that is...

So today I finally had my appointment at the top floor of the drugstore Boots, where the doctor did the exact same things that the nurse. The difference was that this doctor had the qualification to send me to do an x-ray at the hospital. Now, it isn't as bad as it sounds. It's a thing they just have to do. When people have had a cough fo that long, they do chest x-ray just in case it's lung cancer. But. No. That's like one in a million, especially for me who's still very young and haven't smoked.

One good thing is that I'm allowed to work out. I might feel a bit short of breath, but hey, finally! I'll try this weekend!

Sun, park, wig and seagal

IfI went to Boots this morning to see a nurse. I've had my cold, including the cough, for 3 weeks now. Since he didn't find anything I have to see a doctor... which will take a while since there's a queue.

We sat in the park today both at lunch and after school.
And oh! King William III still wears his new wig, and was accompanied by a seagal on the horse's head.

Regular stuff & veggo thoughts

Ahhhrgh... almost every time I start writing I use the Swedish language without thinking about it. :)

So I haven't had the time or the energy to blog these past days. Monday and Tuesday consisted of studying and I also had my hair cut. Rilana is a hair dresser and gave me some advice! Since the hair salon was in a different part of the city I saw lots of new things that I'd never seen before, like a really high and cool cathedral.

After the hair dressers I bought some food in a huge supermarket, it was quite cheap and they had some groceries that I had been looking for but hadn't found in any other shops. Also, I bought almond milk and soy beans. I usually don't eat that but I thought it would be fun to try... especially since I'm thinking of having a few vegetarian days every week. Why not?

Imagine the difference if every person that eat meat daily did that. Good for the environment, less poor suffering animals. I read that if we would eat 10% less meat than we do now, those left-over land areas could be used for growing food which would stop the world hunger.

Destroyed plans

Yesterday was friday, and R and I went to the gym. It's really close to school, and the gym facing The gym is not the best, but we get a lot of help with nutrition, goal-setting and wheights. Appears I am stronger than I thought. :) I guess Rilana was surprised by herself as well.

Since it was a Friday evening a few other lovely people came over, while R had a soar body after her intense one-hour work-out at the cross trainer. They all live in host familys, so I'm actually the only one of us living in a residence. The only thing I can say is; I regret nothing. :)

Me and M from germany

Then L and little I from Switzerland.

After this we went down to the lounge where a lot of students had gathered to drink and have a chat. Somebody said it was an unusually calm night in the residence, but I thought it was kind of... lots of people.

We finally decided on clubbing, so off we went and a quarter of an hour later we payed £4 to come in to Java.   Appeared that they had closed the dance floor, so we left. We actually got our money back as well. Cool! Then we went to the a nearby pub, but it was just too crowded so we gave up and went to Subway and we were all glad that we didn't drink any alcohol at the residence.

It was still a nice evening. What happens, happens.
